Cristiano Ronaldo produced a decisive final-day masterclass as Al-Nassr secured the Saudi Pro League title with a commanding 4–1 victory over Damac, sealing their first league crown since the 2018/19 season.
Heading into the match knowing only victory would guarantee the championship, Al-Nassr delivered under pressure in Riyadh, combining attacking flair with composure to outclass their opponents and finish ahead of rivals Al-Hilal in the title race.
The home side started brightly, controlling possession and creating early chances through Ronaldo, João Félix and Abdullah Al Khaibari, though Damac goalkeeper Kewin stood firm in the opening exchanges.
The breakthrough arrived in the 34th minute when João Félix delivered a precise corner into the box, allowing Sadio Mané to rise and power home a well-timed header to put Al-Nassr in front.
After the break, Al-Nassr doubled their advantage in style. Kingsley Coman combined neatly on the edge of the area before curling a composed finish into the bottom corner just seven minutes into the second half.
Damac briefly reignited hope when Morlaye Sylla converted from the penalty spot after a handball decision against Mohamed Simakan reduced the deficit.
However, Ronaldo quickly reasserted control. The Portuguese forward restored the two-goal cushion with a low-driven free-kick that wrong-footed the goalkeeper before sealing the victory in the closing stages with a clinical finish into the roof of the net to complete his brace.
The double took Ronaldo’s league tally to 28 goals for the season, placing him among the top scorers once again and underlining his continued influence at the highest level despite his long career.
Beyond the numbers, the victory marked a significant milestone for Al-Nassr, ending years of frustration and confirming their status as champions in a highly competitive league that has grown in global profile.
For Ronaldo, the title adds another major honour to an already decorated career spanning England, Spain, Italy, and now Saudi Arabia. For Al-Nassr, it represents both a long-awaited triumph and a statement of intent for the seasons ahead.
