Parliament will resume sitting on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the Third Meeting of the Second Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
A notice issued by Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin on October 20 said proceedings would begin at 10:00 a.m. at Parliament House in Accra.
The notice was issued in accordance with Order 58 of Parliament’s Standing Orders, which empowers the Speaker to announce the commencement of a meeting of the House.
The resumption will bring Members of Parliament back to the chamber to continue parliamentary business, including the consideration of government policies and legislative proposals, as well as the exercise of their oversight responsibilities.
The House is also expected to consider matters referred to parliamentary committees as part of its work during the meeting.
