Joyce Bawah Mogtari, spokesperson for President-elect John Dramani Mahama, has dismissed rumors suggesting a family connection between Dr. Callistus Abukari Mahama and the President-elect.
In a Facebook post dated December 12, 2024, Ms. Bawah Mogtari firmly refuted the claims, stating, “Dr. Callistus Abukari Mahama has no familial relations with the President-elect, HE John Dramani Mahama! Kindly take note.”
Her clarification came amid widespread speculation linking the two individuals, prompting her to issue a direct response to set the record straight.
Further addressing the matter in the comments section of her post, Ms. Bawah Mogtari reiterated the importance of verifying facts before spreading such claims, emphasizing that the misinformation was baseless.
