Mahama’s Media Encounter: A Test of Dialogue and Accountability.

President John Dramani Mahama is preparing to meet the press in what promises to be a crucial Presidential Media Encounter on September 10, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. inside The Presidency.

This engagement comes at a pivotal moment as the President seeks to highlight his Resetting Ghana Agenda, outline policy directions, and provide updates on government projects. More importantly, it gives the Ghanaian media  and by extension, the public  a chance to put tough questions directly to the country’s leader.

In a statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, MP, Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications, the Presidency confirmed that access to the event will be strictly by accreditation.

For President Mahama, the encounter is more than a press conference; it is a test of dialogue, transparency, and accountability at the highest level of leadership. With the public eager for answers on pressing national issues, the stage is set for what could be one of the most defining media engagements of his presidency.
