IGP Yohuno Lauds ADB’s Growth Agenda, Pledges Stronger Partnership

Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has praised the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC for its renewed growth trajectory and strong customer-centered focus, pledging deeper collaboration between the Ghana Police Service and the Bank.

The IGP delivered his remarks at ADB’s Customer Interaction Breakfast Meeting held on Wednesday, 12th November 2025, in Accra, where he served as Special Guest of Honour. The gathering brought together corporate clients, members of the Bank’s Board of Directors, the Executive Management Team, senior police officials, and key stakeholders from diverse sectors.

Commending ADB for its steady transformation, Mr. Yohuno said the Bank’s turnaround reflects “strong leadership, disciplined execution, and renewed customer confidence.” He stressed that a vibrant and efficient banking sector is crucial to Ghana’s economic progress, assuring that the Police Administration is prepared to strengthen institutional support for the Bank.

According to him, the Ghana Police Service remains committed to fostering productive partnerships that enhance financial stability and support national development.

Earlier, the Deputy Managing Director in charge of Services, Mrs. Sylvia Naa Kwakai Nyante, welcomed participants and expressed gratitude to customers for their continued loyalty. She urged them to consistently share feedback, emphasizing that such engagement enables the Bank to refine its operations and deliver enhanced service experiences.

The Managing Director, Mr. Edward Ato Sarpong, later led an interactive feedback session where customers openly shared insights on digital banking channels, turnaround time, product offerings, and innovation pathways. This session reinforces ADB’s “Beyond Banking” agenda, which focuses on redefining banking, empowering businesses, nurturing communities, and promoting service excellence.

The event concluded with a high-level networking session involving customers, board members, senior management, and other invited guests. Participants expressed satisfaction with the engagement and highlighted the importance of such platforms in enhancing transparency, strengthening customer relations, and promoting a more responsive banking experience.

ADB reaffirmed its commitment to building stronger partnerships and leveraging continuous feedback to drive growth and prosperity across all sectors it serves.
