ADB Marks Customer Service Week with Renewed Commitment to Excellence

The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC has joined the global celebration of Customer Service Week 2025, pledging to deepen its commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.

This year’s celebration, themed “Mission: Possible,” reflects the Bank’s dedication to delivering customer-centric solutions that empower individuals and support businesses, while driving sustainable growth.

Speaking on the significance of the week, ADB’s Managing Director, Edward Ato Sarpong, underscored the Bank’s renewed focus on innovation and customer experience as key pillars of its future.

“Our strategic direction focuses on innovation, service excellence, and distinctive financial solutions which align with our core values of responsibility, entrepreneurship, integrity, service excellence, and purpose-driven,” he said.

Mr. Sarpong also expressed appreciation to customers for their loyalty over the years, stressing that their trust remains the foundation of the Bank’s six decades of growth. “As we celebrate Customer Service Week, we want to thank every customer who has journeyed with us. Your confidence and trust in ADB inspire us to continuously improve and serve you better,” he noted.

Highlighting the role of customer engagement, he added, “Every interaction with our customers is an opportunity to make a positive difference. At ADB, we are not just providing financial services; we are building relationships, enabling growth, and contributing to Ghana’s social and economic development.”

Mr. Sarpong further pointed to ADB’s mission of creating sustainable banking for everyone, emphasizing how innovations in both physical branch services and digital platforms are shaping the Bank’s approach to inclusivity and convenience.

He also reiterated that ADB’s corporate tagline, “Beyond Banking…”, is not just a slogan but a guiding philosophy. “Beyond Banking is more than a tagline; it is a commitment to empowering businesses, building futures, driving prosperity, and nurturing communities,” he explained.

As part of the week-long activities, ADB officials will visit selected branches nationwide to engage directly with customers, listen to their feedback, and incorporate their suggestions into service delivery improvements. Several customer-focused initiatives are also being rolled out to mark the occasion.

Customer Service Week is celebrated globally to recognize the critical role of customer service in business growth. For ADB, it represents not only a time of appreciation but also an opportunity to reaffirm its pledge to delivering exceptional service that goes, indeed, “beyond banking.”
