St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Begins Official Visit to Ghana

The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Michael Drew, will pay an official visit to Ghana from Tuesday, March 3 to Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Saint Kitts and Nevis, a dual-island nation located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, is known for its mountainous landscape and scenic beaches.

In a statement signed by Government Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu, it was announced that Prime Minister Drew will participate in Ghana’s 69th Independence Day celebration on Friday, March 6.

The official schedule is set to begin on Wednesday with a meeting between the Prime Minister and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana. He will later hold bilateral talks at the Presidency, where he will also be hosted to an official luncheon.

During his stay, Dr Drew will visit the W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Centre, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and the Cape Coast Castle. He is also expected to pay a courtesy call on the Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II.

Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis continue to strengthen bilateral relations through South-South cooperation, with collaboration focused on education, health, trade, investment and technology exchange programmes.
