Prophet ElBernard Announces Season of Withdrawal from Public Ministry

Prophet Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun, Founder and General Overseer of Spiritlife Revival Ministries, has announced that he is taking a temporary break from public ministry in the wake of the New Patriotic Party’s presidential primaries.

In a statement released on January 31, the prophet said the decision follows his recent public apology over prophetic declarations he made regarding the party’s internal elections. He described the move as a step rooted in humility, accountability, and personal reflection.

Prophet ElBernard revealed that he will pause from public teaching, preaching, and pulpit ministry to allow time for prayer, counsel, and a deeper reassessment of how prophetic messages are received and communicated, particularly on matters of national and political significance.

He stressed that the decision should not be interpreted as a withdrawal from his divine calling. According to him, the break is temporary and intended to foster spiritual growth, integrity, and discernment.

“I am not stepping away from my calling or from ministry altogether,” he noted, adding that he remains committed to personal prayer, study, and quiet pastoral duties during this period.

The leader of Spiritlife Revival Ministries also expressed gratitude to members of his congregation and the wider public for their support and understanding, noting that he values the trust placed in him and does not take it lightly.

He appealed for continued prayers as he undergoes this period of reflection and realignment.

The decision follows the outcome of the NPP presidential primaries, in which former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia emerged as the leading candidate, contrary to an earlier public prophecy by the prophet that Kennedy Ohene Agyapong would win.
