Presidency announces theme for 68th Independence Anniversary: "Reflect, Review, Reset"

The Government of Ghana has officially announced the theme for the country’s 68th Independence Anniversary celebration: “Reflect | Review | Reset.”

The theme highlights the need for national introspection, evaluation of progress, and a renewed commitment to building a stronger future. It aligns with Ghana’s continuous efforts to strengthen democracy, enhance economic resilience, and promote national unity.

The celebration is expected to be held at the forecourt of the Jubilee House; without any grand national parade. The celebration is expected to be bordered on reflective discussions on Ghana’s journey since gaining independence in 1957.

The official Independence Anniversary logo, prominently displayed in the announcement, features key national symbols, including the Ghanaian flag and the Independence Arch, reflecting patriotism and national pride.

Ghanaians are encouraged to participate in the celebrations, using the occasion to reflect on the country’s achievements, challenges, and future aspirations.
