PAC Visits Northshore Apparel Ghana

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament has taken its oversight mandate beyond the committee room, embarking on a working visit to Northshore Apparel Ghana Limited in the Savelugu District.

The visit, which took place on April 8, 2026, forms part of efforts by the committee to ensure that public resources are managed efficiently while also engaging directly with key players in Ghana’s productive sectors.

Northshore Apparel GH Ltd., a rising force in the local garment manufacturing industry, welcomed the delegation as discussions focused on operations, challenges, and opportunities within the sector. The engagement highlighted the importance of collaboration between policymakers and private enterprises in driving national development.

Co-Founder of the company, Nurideen Mohammed, was present during the visit, as the team showcased their work and contribution to job creation and local manufacturing.

The PAC’s presence underscores its commitment to promoting transparency and accountability, while also gaining firsthand insight into how businesses operate within the broader economic framework. Such engagements are seen as crucial in shaping informed policies that support industry growth.

By stepping into the field, the committee reinforces the link between effective oversight and socioeconomic progress. The visit also reflects a broader effort to align governance with the realities of businesses working to create jobs and add value to Ghana’s economy.

As Ghana continues to push for industrial growth and sustainable development, initiatives like this demonstrate that accountability and enterprise must go hand in hand to build stronger communities.
