ORC to Increase Fees and Charges for All Services from February 2, 2026

The Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) has announced an increase in fees and charges for all its services, effective Monday, February 2, 2026.

According to the Office, the adjustment is in line with the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2025 (L.I. 2512), which mandates public institutions to periodically review the cost of services they provide.

In a public notice, the ORC stated that the revised fees will apply to its full range of services nationwide. These include company incorporation, business name registration, and other related services offered by the Office.

The ORC explained that the review is aimed at ensuring sustainable service delivery and improving customer experience across the country. However, the Office did not disclose the new rates in the initial announcement.

It noted that full details of the revised fees and charges will be made available at all Registrar of Companies offices nationwide and published on its official website ahead of the implementation date.

Members of the public and all service users have therefore been advised to take note of the changes and make the necessary arrangements for transactions to be conducted after the new fees take effect.

The development comes amid a broader compliance effort by state institutions, departments, and agencies to align their charges with the Fees and Charges Regulations, 2025, passed by Parliament.

Just last week, the National Identification Authority also announced increases in fees for some of its services, citing the need to maintain and enhance service delivery.
