The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has officially stepped in to coordinate activities for the Ghana leg of popular American YouTuber and live streamer iShowSpeed’s visit, placing the tourism body at the forefront of plans surrounding his stay in the country.
Confirming the development in a post on X, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the GTA, Abeiku Santana, expressed excitement about the Authority’s involvement, noting that the GTA is “pleased to welcome iShowSpeed” to Ghana.
According to Abeiku Santana, the content creator will be taken through a carefully curated experience that highlights Ghana’s rich heritage and vibrant culture. His itinerary is also expected to include visits to key cultural landmarks as well as participation in selected eco-tourism activities across the country.
He further hinted that more engagements are lined up, urging the public to “stay tuned for more updates” as iShowSpeed’s visit continues under the supervision of the Ghana Tourism Authority.
The move is seen as part of broader efforts by the GTA to leverage global digital influencers to promote Ghana as a top tourism destination to international audiences.
