Ghanaian musician Beeztrap KOTM has expressed confidence in his chances of winning the New Artiste of the Year award at the upcoming 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
Speaking in an interview with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz, Beeztrap affirmed his belief that he stands as the frontrunner for the category.
“Oh yeah, of course. If anyone else is going to win, it would be by chance, unless Beeztrap was not nominated,” he stated.
In addition to the New Artiste of the Year category, Beeztrap KOTM revealed that he is also aiming for the Songwriter of the Year award, citing his contributions to the industry in the past year.
“I believe I deserve New Artiste of the Year for sure. Last year, we were all here. Let’s talk about the features, the collaborations, the performances, and my songs like ‘Bad Feelings’ and ‘Nothing Last Forever’ featuring Sarkodie. I think I was the most featured artiste,” he remarked.
Meanwhile, Beeztrap KOTM has recently released a new single, ‘Bang Bang Bang’, featuring Sarkodie and Kwesi Arthur, adding to his growing discography and further solidifying his presence in the Ghanaian music industry.
