The Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB) has firmly denied allegations circulating in the public domain, describing them as baseless and defamatory attempts to tarnish the Bank’s image and that of its Deputy Managing Director, Mrs. Eno Ofori-Atta.
In an official press release, ADB dismissed the claims, reiterating its commitment to professionalism, transparency, and adherence to regulatory frameworks. The Bank clarified that the recent termination of employment for certain staff members, which has sparked the allegations, was a decision made by its Board of Directors during a regularly scheduled meeting.
“All decisions within the institution are taken in strict compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies,” the statement emphasized.
The Bank also praised Mrs. Eno Ofori-Atta for her unwavering professionalism and exceptional performance since assuming her role, highlighting her integrity and diligence as key pillars of the Bank’s operational success.
“She has consistently upheld the principles of integrity and diligence, which are central to the Bank’s operations,” the statement affirmed.
ADB assured stakeholders of its dedication to promoting economic growth, particularly in agriculture and other developmental areas, while urging the public to disregard the false claims.
“These malicious attempts to undermine the Bank’s reputation will not succeed. ADB remains focused on its mission and will not allow baseless accusations to detract from its goals,” the Bank asserted.
The institution further warned that it would take legal action against individuals or entities involved in propagating the misinformation.
Stakeholders and the public have been encouraged to treat the falsehoods with the contempt they deserve as ADB reaffirms its commitment to fostering economic growth and maintaining the trust of its clients and partners.
